New Skincare Buy | Lancôme Youth Activating Skincare Collection: Advanced Génifique.

I've recently had my ghd counter moved to a much better location at work and I'm now opposite the Lancôme counter which is going to be dangerous as I'm totally dribbling over all of their products!

I've heard a lot of amazing stuff about the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum and have been debating whether to give this a try or not. Well Lancôme had  their skincare sets which are only available to buy when you purchase a product from Lancôme. I luckily was allowed to just purchase the set without the need to buy anything else! They do several sets around all of their skincare range and each set works out at an amazing value, which I'll get into shortly! I unfortunately can't find any of the sets online so they may only be available at the actual counters.

What you get in the set:
  • The set comes in a nice white bag which is the ideal size to use as a makeup bag or toiletry bag.
  • A full sized Advanced Génifique Serum in 30ml. £59
  • A full sized Hydra Intense Mask 100ml. £32
  • A full sized Bi Facil (eye makeup remover) 125ml. £21
  • Galatéis Douceur 50ml. £23 for 200ml
  • Tonique Douceur 50ml. £22.50 for 200ml
  • Génifique Day Cream 15ml. £58 for 50ml
  • Génifique Night Cream 5m. £58 for 50ml
  • Génifique Eye Pearl 5ml. £46 for 15ml
  • Visionnaire Advanced Corrector Serum 7ml. £59 for 30ml
I also was given as an extra a few of the Visionnaire Advanced Corrector Serums which are 5mls each!

This set is worth £130!

This whole set came to just £59 but I purchased it for £53 when John Lewis had their price match event! So basically I was only paying for the full sized Génifique which is £59. It's great value as you get three full sized products and good sized sample products, plus with the additional samples that I was given the value is actually £190!

I can't wait to start using this (by the time this goes up I would have been using it for around a week), especially the Génifique, as reviews say this little serum seriously does turn back time! I've been using No7 Protect and Perfect Day Cream and Serum for too many years now and it's not that I'm unhappy with it, I just feel my skin could do with a change.  I've actually bought Lancômes eye makeup remover, Bi Facil before, it's a cult favourite and amazing at taking off all your eye makeup, but I refuse to pay £21 for a eye makeup remover.

I also bought some L'Oreal skincare who own Lancôme and let's be honest here, the difference between their products is very little, in fact my favourite liquid eyeliner and concealer is EXACTLY the same as the Lancôme ones. So I will try out my L'Oreal skincare after I've finished up with this and see how they compare!

I will do an in-depth review on some of these products especially the Génifique and Visionnaire Advanced Corrector Serum once I've been using them for a few weeks so keep your eyes peeled for that!

What skincare do you use? Have you ever used Lancôme skincare before?
