Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Ash Blonde/Taupe
As a blonde, trying to find the right brow pencil is one of the toughest tasks out there, I decided I was going to write a post about my favourite blonde brow pencils, but needed to purchase a few more before I wrote the post, one of the purchases was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Ash Blonde/Taupe and I couldn't wait for the brow post, I needed to talk about this NOW! Be warned, there is a bit of a brow rant in here!

I'm not one of those girls that say brows are life, or whatever they say, because they aren't to me, yes they're important, but they aren't everything. I know that brows shape your face, but for me, every part of my makeup shapes my face and I'd rather, if it came down to it, walk out of my house with mascara and eyeliner on than my brows, and that's the honest truth, this could be because it's been a constant battle to find, what I class as the perfect blonde brow product, and I may have just done that!

I'm going to put this out here first, and I may got shot down for it, buy I don't care! I feel like the world has gone a little brow crazy! Everything is about the brows, the bigger, the bolder, the darker the better, well apparently and I don't know where this infatuation with big, thick and dark brows came from, on some people it looks nice, on others, well it looks a little ridiculous when your hair colour is white blonde and your brows are jet black and look like they've been painted on, but each to their own of course!

You see the issue I have with my brows is that there isn't much of them, they're too thin, too sparse and way too fair, so what I desire and want from my brows is for them to be a few shades darker, with a proper ash tone to them and be a little bit fuller, without them taking over my whole face. I also don't want a pencil that has orange tones to it and hate it when they are really waxy. I like as I said, an ash tone that's quite dry with only a touch of wax to it, barely any wax, but just enough. Now you would think this was easy, but it's not at all, well that was until Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Ash Blonde/Taupe entered my life!

Most beauty bloggers and half of the YouTube community have been raving about Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz for forever, but I didn't really buy into it to be honest, you know how a product can get OVER praised? Yeah that's what happened with this and it kind of put me off it. But for research purposes for my up and coming blonde brow post, I couldn't not try and mention this. Now I'm like why did I wait so long to buy it?!

This is so tiny and thin, yet it feels a little weighty, which with the size of it, you wouldn't expect that. The tip is literally the smallest brow tip I have ever used. At first I thought as it was so small, it would take me forever to do my brows, but it's the opposite, it takes me less time to do my brows. The small tip is perfect for defining your brows, especially when you have virtually none like myself and need to create a shape from nothing. Because the tip is so small you can create tiny flicks on your brows, thereby mimicking your natural hairs to create defined, yet very natural looking brows.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz also comes with a little spooley at the other end so you can brush through your brows before and afterwards. I like the size of the spooley as quite often other spooleys are way too big and do nothing, this really let's me brush my brows where I want them to be.

Colour wise it's the perfect match. It's the right ash shade, with only a subtle blonde hint to it. It doesn't make my brows look too dark, which isn't what I wanted. texture wise, it's nice and dry with that very slight wax feel that I said I wanted. It doesn't cake on to your brows at all and honestly leaves them looking so natural, even on the parts that have very few brows, which is quite rare for a brow pencil. You also don't need to sharpen this, so you won't be wasting any product.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz costs £15.50 and I bought it from Beauty Bay (who deliver super fast) it's a little more than what I'd normally like to pay BUT the finish and application is just amazing and it's actually changed everything with my brows, although I'm hoping I don't become too brow obsessed now! I would 100% repurchase this in a heart beat, so if you're on the look out for the perfect blonde brow pencil, then this is the one to go for, or even if you're in the market for a new brow product, regardless of colour, you need to try this to understand how amazing it really is!!!

Keep your eyes peeled over the next two weeks for my top picks on blonde brow products too!
