I'm trying new hair products all of the time and anything that says it's going to help repair my hair, make it feel softer and look healthier pretty much has me placing it in my basket and paying before I even realise what I've done, so when I was asked if I wanted to try out Cloud Nine Repair and Protect Magical Duet* set I was like yesss please!
The Magical Duet set comes with the Magical Potion, 50mls which you can buy separately and Magical Remedy, 50mls which I can't seem to find sold on it's own.
The Magical Remedy is a rich hair treatment that's meant to strengthen the hair to prevent split ends and breakages and to also help add shine and make your hair feel a lot healthier. You can either use this as a conditioner or use it as a leave in conditioner, which is how I preferred to use this. You only need to use a small amount, then spread it evenly and massage it into your hair and just leave it in until your next wash.
The first time I used this I not only felt a big difference, I could actually see a difference. My hair felt a lot smoother and stronger and after using this several times, my hairs normal dryness had improved massively, in a way very few products have succeeded in doing. There is even a shine on my dull bleached hair, that normally I have to add additional products to create! I'm gutted that I can't buy this seperately, as I would actually order this in bulk as it really is an amazing product! I'm hoping that it will become a line that can bought separately though, and believe me if it does, I'll be tweeting to let you all know, as this is a must have for over processed hair!
The Magical Potion is a heat protector that you can apply to wet hair or to dry hair. This also claims to help reduce drying time. Now as a heat protector, it appears to work fine, but I can't say I noticed any difference within my drying time. I use a super fast, powerful hair dryer, which you can find my review of just HERE which has my hair dried in 10 minutes anyway, so for me, I personally couldn't see a difference, that's not to say that others won't though. I liked that it didn't leave my hair feeling heavy and weighed down, like some heat protector sprays can do, but I wouldn't repurchase this. Not because I didn't like it, because I do, but just because I'm honestly already happy with my current heat protector.
As a whole this was a great set, the Magical Remedy, for me is the clear winner out of the set and I highly recommend it. If you're still looking for a good heat protector then I'd give this whole set a go. It only costs £16.90 and I've been using this for a few weeks now and still have around half of the Magical Remedy left and three quarters of the Magical Potion left, so it is great value.
Have you used Cloud Nine Repair and Protect Magical Duet set before? What is your must have hair care product?
