MeMeMe Cosmetics

MeMeMe Cosmetics review
As a beauty blogger and self confessed beauty addict, I'm always on the look out to try new make-up brands, I'm also a sucker for some pretty packaging. So when I discovered the new brand MeMeMe Cosmetics my heart fluttered a little at the sight of the gorgeous packaging.

MeMeMe Cosmetics* are a relatively new brand that I had crossed paths with once before, thanks to one of my Glossyboxes. What caught my attention at first was the beautiful packaging, it's reminds me a little of Benefit, but at a fraction of the price!

The products were delivered in a beautiful black box, now I love these boxes as they are great to store all my products in, as I honestly run out of space on a daily basis. I'm not sure if all deliveries come like this, or whether just PR samples do, either way I loved it, as quite often it's the attention to detail that grabs me in every time!

Firstly I'm going to start off with the products I wasn't so keen on.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Dark & Divine Mascara review

Let's be honest, if you come to my blog often, you will know that I'm not exactly short on mascaras, but that doesn't mean I don't like to try new ones out, which I do, I'm a total mascara junky! I loved the packaging of this. The colour is jet black, something I always look for and it doesn't smudge at all. It adds a reasonable amount of length and definition, but it just doesn't cut the mould in the volume side of things. I like full on lashes, and this just didn't do that for me. If you like a mascara that will lengthen, define and add a small amount of volume, then I'd give this a try.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Long wear Satin Lip Cream in Persian Pink Review
Now formula wise, I loved it. It felt very moisturising on my lips, which is down to the lip cream being enriched with shea butter and vitamin E. It applies beautifully to the lips and also smells quite nice too. Longevity, was around 4 hours, which isn't too bad actually. The problem is, and it's nothing down to the lip cream, is that this wasn't the colour for me. Looking online you would think this was a beautiful pink colour, but in reality it's a browny pink, which just isn't the right shade for me. I would definitely try other shades, as I said, the formula is lovely.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Cherub’s Blush Cheek & Lip Tint Review

Firstly, this is a total dube for Benefits Benetint, for three quarters of the price! Now I loved this! As a lip tint, this was the right colour for me. Adding just a subtle hint of cherry red colour to my lips, this can be worn day time or by layering this up, for a night time look. The colour does not budge at all, plus it's non drying, so that's a big plus for me! As a cheek tint, this is beautiful. Not something I'd wear on a daily basis, due to my matte finish foundation and powder, but on days where I'm wearing a light coverage foundation or CC cream and just want to add a slight flush to my cheeks, this will be something that I will be grabbing!

MeMeMe Cosmetics Eye Inspire Catwalk Quad Collection, in Ocean Eyes Review
MeMeMe Cosmetics Eye Inspire Catwalk Quad Collection, in Ocean Eyes Review

Another dupe here, and this time it's MAC Mineralised Quad Eyeshadows, that were limited editions earlier this year. Firstly, this kind of green is generally not the colour I would go to, BUT when I applied this for the first time, it really suited me. The mixture of all four shades together, were beautiful (I have a makeup look using this coming up soon) I love baked eyeshadows as you can either apply them wet for a intense colour, or use them dry for a more natural colour. These apply beautifully. There is very little fall out, which normally happens with eyeshadows that costs such a small amount. Blending in with these is a dream, you don't need to do much work, so these eyeshadows would be great for any beginner out there! Staying power, they lasted all day, but I do always wear a eye primer, regardless of what eyeshadow brand I'm wearing. There is seven shades in total and I have my eyes on Smouldering Eyes, Opulent Eyes and Drama Eyes the most! and for £6.50, I'm pretty sure I'm going to order all three shades in one go!

MeMeMe Cosmetics Blush Me! Blush Box in Coral review
MeMeMe Cosmetics Blush Me! Blush Box in Coral review

Finally, and by no means least I've left my favourite until last! Yes, I'm sure just by looking at this box you can see how similar this is to Benefit Blushes. Firstly, I adore the coral colour. I find corals on me to be quite hit and miss, but this one is a massive hit! It's very pigmented, which means a little goes a long way. The blush has a slight shimmer, which is something I always prefer in my blushers, but it's nothing that's going to make your cheeks look too shiny. It's not too powdery either, which, let's be honest, even the most expensive blushers can be a little powdery at times. I love that this comes with a mirror in the top of the lid and the brush is a nice added touch, not that I would use it on a day to day basis, but they are always handy for when you're out on the go!

MeMeMe Cosmetics Review

As a new discovery, I couldn't be any happier. Aside from the mascara and shade of lipstick (I would buy more, just not this shade) these are products I would use on a daily basis and I'm really keen to try out more from the brand, especially after looking at the website and seeing what a great product range MeMeMe Cosmetics have. I really do like the whole luxury boutique style to not only the packaging, but to the style of the website too.

MeMeMe Cosmetics are also launching into House of Fraser this month, which must be so exciting to the brand. This also means that you can go and have a look at the products yourself very soon! If you can't wait though, I noticed that you can receive 15% off with your first order when you sign up to their mailing list, mind you I don't know how long that promotion is running for.

Have you tried anything from MeMeMe Cosmetics before? Are you, like me, a sucker for gorgeous packaging too?
Until Next Time
*PR Sample. These products were sent to me for consideration of a review. As always, my opinions are 100% my own
