September Beauty Favourites!

September Beauty Favourites!
Whooa can you believe it, September has been and gone (well after today anyway) and we're less than three months away from Christmas!! eeek! Anyway it's that time again, monthly favourites time and today I'm talking about the four products that have graced my face nearly every day throughout September!

When it comes to monthly favourites I try to not talk about products that have featured on JustJulie before (not always possible) and also products that have pretty much been used on a weekly/daily basis, basically products that have dominated the month. So when I thought back throughout September there was five products that were constantly used, I decided to review one of those separately yesterday just HERE which left me with just four! Let's get into this yeah?!

  • Makeup Geek Pigment in 'Nightlife' and Makeup Geek Pigment in 'Sweet Dreams' £4.15 ($6.99) Right I've shared my love for Makeup Geek Several times before, with a haul just HERE a review of some of the eyeshadows just HERE and have a makeup look using some of the eyeshadows just HERE so it goes without saying that I adore Makeup Geek products BUT I own a lot of eyeshadows and sometimes forget about certain products that I own. I hadn't worn any of the pigments in ages and then one Sunday I looked through my pigments muji drawer (yes I have a drawer dedicated to loose pigments) and I decided to use Nightlife and Sweet Dreams together and received so many compliments that day. The two colours compliment each other beautifully and create such a stunning neutral eye look that just stands out a mile. They're very shimmery shades but they look gorgeous. The pigmentation is amazing and the lasting power is outstanding. Also applying these two shades wet creates a gorgeous foiled look that is very popular right now. I will take some photos when I get the time and post a makeup look using these also. These have been my go to shadows throughout most of September and I'm still not bored of them! (photos of the pigments are at the end and swatches are just HERE)
  • Makeup Revolution Awesome Double Flick thick and Thin Liquid Liner, £3.50 No favourites can be without a nod in the direction of Makeup Revolution! I received this liquid liner at the Bluewater Bloggers Meet up within the goodie bag which I wrote about just HERE All of the other bloggers had got round to using this before I did and were telling me how amazing it was, and they didn't lie! Damn this is sooo black, it's one of the blackest liquid liners I've ever used! It's incredibly easy to apply too, so any liquid liner newbie out there should go pick this up as it makes applying a cat flick liquid line super easy! This also shows no sign of drying out any time soon, which is amazing a I've used this every day for the past three weeks too! This could fast become my favourite liquid liner and at £3.50 it's a total steal too!
  • Nanshy Eye Blending Brush, £5.95 Within the goodies bags at the meet up Nanshy had kindly sent us all a blending brush. This is the first Nanshy brush I've ever used and it's amazing and have made me want to order one of their brush sets too. It's incredibly soft but firm enough to blend eyeshadow in easily. This has been my go to eyeshadow brush when applying my Makeup Geek pigment in sweet dreams all over my lid. It picks up pigments easily but it doesn't create as much fall out as other brushes do. I've been using this to blend in the finished eyeshadow look too, and it makes blending no longer a chore! I love the white handle too, which makes a nice change from my usual black makeup brushes! For less than £6 the quality is amazing and recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to fork out a fortune on the MAC 217 as this is an amazing dupe! All Nanshy brushes are 100% vegan and cruelty free too which makes this brush even better!
Makeup Geek Pigments in Nightlife and Sweet Dreams
As promised, TOP: Makeup Geek Pigment in Nightlife and BOTTOM: Makeup Geek Pigment in Sweet Dreams

So this is basically my makeup through the whole of September, pretty simple, quick yet really makes a huge impact, which is why these four products are here in my monthly favourites! I've also just realised that everything here costs less £6 each, so yay to great quality products at such a low price!!!!

October is a big month for me the cosmo blog awards are just a week away, my birthday is also at the end of the month, I have a few proper nights out planned, I'm attending a few events too and ghd will be launching their Christmas collection too, which FYI is bloody gorgeous, in a totally unbiased way, so October is going to be a jam packed month post wise! You may have noticed I was planning on posting everyday within September, well I quickly decided that this hard working women needed just one day off a week to not do anything blogging related so in the end I posted 6 days a week, Sunday-Friday and I'm shocked I kept on top of my posts. I was very organised and made sure that I had at least four posts written up and scheduled to go live in case there was a day that I wasn't able to get on to the laptop. It did mean that I got behind on replying to comments left on here and also on my favourite blogs too BUT I can assure you I have read every comment and read all my favourite blogs too, just have been behind on the commenting side of things! As of October blogging schedule of every other day shall be resuming, I honestly don't know who people work full time and post every day, I honestly take my hat off to you!

Anyway sorry for the ramble! If you have posted any monthly favourites please link them below so I can go have a look, or list your favourite product of the month.

Until Next Time
