Collection isn't a brand that I've tried much from, however as an eyeshadow addict when I spotted this cute neutral palette for just £2.99 (It's now gone up to £3.19) I had it in my basket straight away!
Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette is part of the collaboration between Collection and the group Little Mix. There is already a few different products as part of the collaboration but this is the one palette that grabbed my attention.
For a palette that costs just over £3 the design is really sleek and cute. The packaging is thick cardboard, yet it's really well made. At the front there is a see through window which let's you view the shades without opening the palette up, which I actually like. It also has the Little Mix logo, which I think is aimed more at teenagers, rather than a 33 year old like me, but none the less I like the design and packaging a lot.
The shade selection is lovely too, you get a skin colour, golds, bronzes, taupes and a dark almost matte black. The shades allow you create a neutral day time look as well as creating the Little Mix statement sultry smoky eye look.
I have to say the quality of these eyeshadows is pretty remarkable. This is the first time I have tried Collection eyeshadows and I'm nothing but impressed with them. There is a small amount of fall out with 'Darkbird' and 'Feather' but these two shades are almost matte (they have a barely detectable shimmer) so that's to be expected, but with the other shades that have more of a satin finish to them, there is little fall out. All the shades blend in easy, although 'Darkbird' needs just a little more work. They lasted well on my eyes too and the pigmentation is very intense with all the shades too.
I have to say for an eyeshadow palette containing 6 shades that costs just £3.19 I think this is amazing! I'm in shock at how great a quality product this actually is. This has now firmly placed Collection on my radar! I would love to see this palette in other colours too as I'd pick them up in a heat beat!
Have you tried anything from Collection before What would you recommend I pick up next
