Barry M Starry Eyed Shadow & Blush Palette

Barry M Starry Eyed Shadow & Blush Palette

So did you know I'm a bit of an eyeshadow horder? Eyeshadows dominate my makeup collection and I love to collect palettes. I popped into Boots about two months ago and spotted some amazing valued eyeshadow palettes by Barry M and picked up three of them whilst they were on 3 for 2. I'll review each one individually, so today's review is the Limited Edition Starry Eyed Eye & Face Palette

I actually first noticed the Barry M Natural Glow Eye Shadow and Face Blusher Palette and was taken back by how much it reminded me of the Stila 'in the light' palette, which I'm sure you all know is my current favourite palette. This made me notice the other palette that Barry M sell, I think there is six in total.

The Barry M Limited Edition Starry Eyed Eye & Face Palette is quite a warm toned palette that would probably be more suitable for people with an olive tone, however the gorgeous blue shade would look lovely on every skin tone. I love that this includes a gorgeous bronze, rusty and dark chocolate shades, which would make this a great alternative smokey eye palette.

There is also a blusher included, which would make this a great palette to use when out on the go. However the blusher is way too deep for me, plus it's super pigmented and when I first used it I expected the colour to come out quite sheer, well I ended up looking like a doll!

As you can see from the swatches above the pigmentation is amazing! I love that all of the shades have a sparkle to them. The glitter within the shadows isn't too chunky so blending them in is quite easy, the only shade I had difficulty with was the chocolate brown at the end. There was a fair bit of fall out from the glitter though so I would recommend applying your foundation afterwards or using a tissue.

Over all I do like this palette, the design is nice, especially for the price and the quality is quite good. This probably wouldn't be a palette I would reach for all of the time, but if I fancied a look that was warmer then this would be the palette I'd go for as I do like the rusty and chocolate shades together.

Have you tried Barry M eyeshadows before?
