Recently I purchased quite a few new products from Makeup Revolution I'd seen they had released some new lipsticks so couldn't resist picking up one or six of them!
After such a successful launch of their Iconic Pro palettes (review of Iconic Pro 1 Palette and Iconic Pro 2 Palette) they've now decided to expand the range and launch the Iconic Pro Lipsticks which includes 20 new lipsticks and promises to deliver a super intensive colour that's comfortable to wear... There's also some new packaging which I myself really love, I mean come on, they do look a little bit like MAC right? Ok not exactly but the shape is the same, which just so happens to be my favourite shape for a lipstick. I love the gold rim around the lipstick, I feel this adds a premium look to the case, they also now include the lipstick names at the bottom, which I was like thank god they have finally listened to us!
I wasn't sure what to expect with these but I have to say I'm really impressed. You can see from the swatches above just how pigmented they really are, there really is no need to keep going over your lip with the bullet at all. I picked up a mixture of matte and glossy finishes and although the mattes did last longer on my lips, the glossy finishes still have a good wear time before needing to re-apply, I'd say 3-4 hours which for me is really good. Neither finishes are drying on the lips either, another plus from me.
My favourite shades has to be 'No Perfection Yet' and 'Liberty Matte' I mean look, they're stunning! Although I don't quite have the balls to wear 'Blindfolded' out just yet, I think it's stunning and I'm gearing my way up to wearing it, especially as I now have pink hair, it actually looks really nice with my hair!
Over all really impressed with the new range of lipsticks, the formula is soft and creamy and as you can see, they're super pigmented and for the price of only £2.49 each I'll definitely be picking up a few more in the future.
Have you tried the new Iconic Pro Lipsticks yet?
